We're looking for warm, skilled, BACP or NCPS registered counsellors to join the Circle Therapy community — accepting referrals, building your practice, and becoming part of something genuinely supportive in Tring and online.
Being part of the Circle Therapy team means being genuinely supported — clinically, professionally and as a person. We've built something we're proud of, and we want the right people in it.
We receive self-referrals and professional referrals from GPs, schools and other services, and match clients carefully to the right practitioner. No managing public-facing waitlists.
You'll be part of a close-knit clinical community with a Clinical Director who knows her team. You won't feel like you're practising in isolation — even if your sessions are online.
Access to Circle Therapy CPD workshops every two months — professionally relevant, practically grounded, and included as part of being part of our team.
A strong team is built outside of client hours too. Bi-monthly social events give you the chance to connect with colleagues, unwind, and feel genuinely part of something.
Use our consulting room in Tring, work fully online, or a blend of both. We structure arrangements around your availability and the clients referred to you.
You'll have a full team profile on circletherapy.co.uk — giving you visibility to prospective clients and referrers as part of an MNCPS accredited practice.
We're not looking to fill desks. We're building a team of genuinely committed practitioners who share our values — people who will show up fully for their clients and for each other.
You hold current registration with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS / MNCPS), or an equivalent accredited professional body.
You hold a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling or higher, from a recognised and accredited training provider.
You hold appropriate supervision for your client work and are committed to ongoing reflective practice.
Professional indemnity insurance in place; valid enhanced DBS check required for any work with children or young people.
Happy to join bi-monthly CPD and social events and work within Circle Therapy's clinical framework and values.
Able to take on a minimum of two to three new clients and maintain consistent availability for the people we refer to you.
"Our team develop together — sharing knowledge, building skills, and supporting each other through the particular challenges of clinical work."
We're particularly keen to hear from counsellors with experience in neurodiversity, trauma, couples therapy, children & young people, or school-based work — though we welcome all specialisms.
We welcome counsellors of all modalities and backgrounds. These are areas of particular demand from our referral base right now.
Email us at team@circletherapy.co.uk with a brief introduction, your specialism, and your availability.
Gayle or a senior team member will be in touch within five working days for an informal conversation.
We'll ask to see your qualifications, insurance, DBS and registration details and agree a working arrangement.
You'll be introduced to the team and begin receiving matched referrals as soon as you're ready.
Send us a brief introduction — tell us about yourself, your qualifications, your specialism, and what you're looking for. There's no obligation, just a conversation to see if we're the right fit for each other.
